Ok, so this is technically grey noise. What's grey noise you ask? Well, I would describe this sound as emphasizing both the high and low end. To me, it's super soothing.
Wikipedia gets a little more scientific and describes grey noise as containing "all frequencies with equal loudness, as opposed to white noise, which contains all frequencies with equal energy. The difference between the two is the result of psychoacoustics, more specifically the fact that the human hearing is more sensitive to some frequencies than others." You can learn more about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_noise
So, yay for science and math teaching me about this relaxing sound. Do you guys like the grey noise ambience? Would you like to hear other colors of noise? Speaking of which, I do have brown noise and pink noise videos that you can check out.
